30/07/2014Exhibitor's letters posted with the show numbers yesterday claimed falsely that dogs with docked tails or cropped ears may not participate in the WDS2014. Please notice that according to Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Decree 1070/2000, dogs with docked tails or cropped ears may participate in the FCI World Dog Show in Finland.
24/07/2014Due to a large entry of dogs rings 93-100 will be outside. Area will be covered with large tents that cover the rings and cage zone. Due to a large number of dogs we kindly ask participants not to bring dog pens, tents or extra furniture items to the dog show.

A large number of dogs will participate in the FCI World Dog Show 2014 in Helsinki, Finland. 21,247 dogs from 360 different breeds have been entered to the show.

02/07/2014At the close of the third entry period, 19,324 dogs had been entered to the FCI World Dog Show 2014, which is being organised by the Finnish Kennel Club. The final deadline for entries is 9 July.
Entries have come in from as far afield as the Philippines, Australia, Peru, Brazil and Japan. The largest number of foreign dogs is expected from Russia.
