Messukeskus prepares for the World Dog Show high point
The World Dog Show organized by the Finnish Kennel Club ends on Sunday with the selection of the world's best dog, that is the Best In Show. The culmination is expected with great enthusiasm and the majority of the tickets have already been sold.
Some tickets to the grand finale taking place at 5 pm on Sunday are still available at the entrances of the Messukeskus, Expo and Convention Centre Helsinki for the price of 10 euros.
The World Dog Show can be compared with the World Championships or the Olympic Games. The three-day event in Helsinki is the biggest event ever organized by the World Canine Organisation FCI. There have been more than 21 000 dogs entered to the show.
On Sunday a total of 6 532 dogs have been judged in the rings. Sheep and Cattle Dogs, Pontings Dogs (eg. pointers and setters) as well as Companion and Toy Dogs have been among these.
