Animagi becomes a partner of the World Dog Show
The Finnish Kennel Club and the veterinary clinic chain Animagi have yesterday, 22 May 2014, entered into a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement Animagi will act as official partner of the World Dog Show providing veterinary services.
The company will have its own stand at the event where it will e.g. provide foreign dogs with health certificates needed for exiting the country. Moreover, the experts from Animagi will give health-related information at the Finnish Kennel Club’s Hau Life stand.
- I’m glad we got the cooperation agreement as promoting the health and wellbeing of dogs has always been important to the Kennel Club. It is great to work for these matters together with Animagi that has grown significantly nationally, says Markku Mähönen, CEO of the Finnish Kennel Club.
- It is great that we can start cooperating and that we will be part of the World Dog Show. I believe that this cooperation is only an introduction to what we might accomplish in the future together. We want to support the health of Finnish and foreign dogs also this way. The presence of foreigners is important to us since we are opening an Animagi animal hospital in Vantaa this autumn, and the hospital will also serve pet owners from abroad, the marketing and communications manager of Animagi Kaisa Barkman comments.
Also the president of the dog show, Kari Järvinen, is glad to have Animagi being responsible for the veterinary services of the show. This cooperation between two major actors is groundbreaking and will hopefully be extended soon.
- The cooperation also matches well with the Finnish Kennel Club’s Anniversary theme: “Good living with dogs”, Järvinen continues.
Animagi is a Finnish veterinary clinic chain including 38 veterinary clinics in more than 20 towns.
The Finnish Kennel Club is the national expert organization in dog-related issues in Finland. The Club has approximately 1.900 dog associations and more than 150.000 people as it members.
